Job Overview:
As the Quality Control Inspector, you will report to the General Manager. You will be expected to meet customer quality requirements through rigorous inspection. This includes monitoring, measuring, and documenting the characteristics of products as compared to product requirements and prevent non-conforming products. All while implementing and improving quality control operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with manufacturing to prevent non-conforming products and continuously improve processes.
- Perform thorough examinations of all finished products
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Under limited supervision perform floor inspections, per procedures/inspection guide/prints, on parts in house and from customers and/or suppliers
- Review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for completeness and compliance
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical and composites components
- Occasional travel locally and internationally
- All other duties assigned
Experience/Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Fiberglass and or Composite material preferred
- Previous quality control experience with FAI
- Practical experience working with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP)
- Proficient in the use of basic Dimensional Measuring Tools
- Ability to read specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings, basic blueprint reading

Pay: $80,000.00 - $91,000.00 per year
