Salary : $16.00

CAFETERIA CASHIER / PREP / SERVER

FULLTIME (6 HOURS DAILY)

THIS IS AN AT WILL POSITION

REPORTS TO CAFETERIA MANAGER

Summary of position :

Provide friendly, responsive service in a clean and safe environment that all our customers and coworkers enjoy.

Essential Functions :

Understand and comply with all policies, procedures, standards, specifications guidelines, directives, assignments, and training programs.
Assists with preparations as needed.
Clean, set up breakfast bags and carts prior to meal service and breakdown after meal service.
Prepare, transport, and serve Breakfast and Lunch to PreK-6th grade students at Satellite kitchen.
Cashier for Breakfast / Lunch as needed.
Keep a clean and safe work area including equipment.
Transport trash to dumpster.
Promptly Wash dishes, Sweep, and mop up spills and clean messes as they arise.
Be ready and willing to assist Coworkers as situations arise.
Remove trash from kitchen, hallways and ramadas as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Successful completion of all interviews, background check, drug testing and fingerprint requirements

Submission of all employee related documents, and forms free of false, misleading and / or incomplete information.

Sensitivity and respect for people of various backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and socio-economic situations

Have basic cooking and cleaning skills.

Be able to work in a standing position for up to six to eight hours a day.

Hair must be styled in a way that it is restrained and away from the face, fingernails must be short and trimmed, and artificial nails are allowed while working but must be short and trimmed.

Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 50 pounds and up.

Know basic math skills.

You must always wear skid proof shoes in kitchen.

Must have food handlers card.

Must be able to obtain a Fingerprint clearance card.
