What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Education Teacher for FY26 position at Skyline Education Inc.?
Qualifications for physical education teachers:
- Bachelor’s Degree with CPR and First Aid certification
- Able to teach and work with all age groups 6th through 12th grade
- Able to coach some after school programs (volleyball preferred)
- Preferred but not necessarily required: Valid Arizona Department of Education Teaching Certificate or Intern Certificate
- Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Strong organizational, planning, and implementation skills
- Ability to create a positive, achievement-oriented, and structured learning environment in which all students can achieve at high levels
- Ability to provide lesson plans and work with standards for Career Ready in the State of AZ
Requirements for and physical education teachers:
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students and families
- Belief that all students deserve an excellent education regardless of their background or demographics
- Strength in receiving and implementing feedback and dedication to continuously improving their teaching practice
- Desire to be a member of a strong school community with schools that have high achieving sports programs.
- Able to incorporate Character education and literacy goals into daily classes
- Ability to write lesson plans and post electronically
- Ability to use technology for communication
