Skyline Education Preschool is accepting applications for a lead PreK Teacher. We are located inside AZ Compass Elementary School in Chandler. Part-time and full-time applications will be considered. Not sure if your education or experience could qualify you as a PreK Lead teacher? We are happy to work with you to review your qualifications. We are searching for an awesome, outgoing, well-rounded teacher who will work well with our 3 and 4-year-old children. You need to be able to organize age-appropriate activities & learning centers, write thorough lesson plans using Frogstreet Curriculum, and use positive guidance techniques. You are expected to understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. An ideal teacher should be able to communicate with parents and students in a professional manner, follow ADHS licensing requirements, Quality First Standards & Cognia accreditation standards, and most importantly be a self-starter. The most successful candidates demonstrate strong classroom management, training skills, a caring personality, punctuality, patience, and previous experience working with children ages 3-5 on occasion working with school-age children.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
- Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
- Maintain frequent communication with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment, including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records, forms and files
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

Requirements:
*TB Test upon hire
*Fingerprint Clearance Card
*High Energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents and to foster a team environment)
*Registered on Arizona Early Childhood Registry
*DES Health & Safety Trainings Completed
*Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, or related field with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE
*2 or more years working in an early childhood setting
