Travel Nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Job Description
Overview:
Hyur Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN ICU to provide high-quality patient care in an intensive care unit setting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage critically ill patients, including those with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Administer medications, titrate IV vasopressors, and manage continuous IV sedation.
- Interpret ABGs, dysrhythmias, and other vital signs to inform patient care decisions.
- Maintain accurate computerized documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
Requirements:
- 1.5 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an ICU or similar setting.
- Hold certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and others listed in the job description.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1-2 .
