Wellspring is a nurse-owned and operated company that provides travel nursing opportunities. We are seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing job in an Alaskan setting.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in pediatric nursing and hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred, but an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is also accepted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions specific to pediatric patients, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, growth patterns, and developmental milestones, identifying any potential health concerns.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on pediatric health conditions, treatment plans, and strategies for managing care at home.
