Job Title: Travel Nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care to join our team for a travel nursing job in Marysville, California.
Job Summary:
This is a 10-week assignment with a 40-hour workweek, requiring a 10-hour day shift. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring prompt and effective recovery from anesthesia.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements:
- RN licensure in good standing with the state of California.
- Current BLS certification and ACLS preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PACU or similar critical care setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in post-anesthetic care, including knowledge of medications, monitoring equipment, and common complications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
