Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team on a travel nursing assignment in Lufkin, Texas. This is a 13-week opportunity with 42 hours of work per week, working 8-hour night shifts.
Job Description
As a Tele Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care by connecting patients to vital sign monitoring equipment. You will interpret and record electronic displays, identify irregular readings, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients
- Read and interpret telemetry data to inform patient care decisions
- Identify and report irregular telemetry readings to the medical team
Requirements
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and possess specific vision abilities
