We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit to join our team for a travel nursing opportunity in Elkins, West Virginia. This role requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience, working 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an ICU setting, utilizing their expertise in critical care nursing. They will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' medical histories, allergies, and cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear understanding of treatment plans and progress.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Hold a valid RN license in the state of West Virginia.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in ICU nursing, preferably in a travel setting.
- Be proficient in electronic medical records (EMRs) and possess strong technical skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain current certifications in BLS and any other relevant specialties.
