Quarry Laborer

This position is for full-time outdoor work year-round (weather pending some days). You will need to hand split the building stone with a 12lb sledgehammer, stack split stone in cages and pallets and work with stone using our hydraulic cutting machine.

It's important that you're willing to be a team player to get the job done.

Salary is based on experience and discussed during the interview.

You will need to work standard office hours Mon-Fri 7am-5pm. Some half day Saturday work will also be required as needed. Overtime hours are also available at times.

Our company has been in operation in Stafford Springs, CT by the current owner for over 35 years. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. We are a non-smoking company. Applicants must be willing to wear Personal Protection supplied by the company but will also need to supply their own steel toed boots. An annual 8-hour MSHA Safety Meeting attendance is also required. It is extremely helpful if you have experience in more than one of the positions and it will help increase your chances of being hired.
