- Provide therapy interventions, including training in adaptive techniques and the use of assistive devices.
- Monitor residents' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with the care team, residents, and families to establish and support therapy goals.
- Educate residents and their caregivers on therapeutic strategies and techniques to enhance independence.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy services, evaluations, and progress notes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Colorado.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
