Position Summary
As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat residents to improve their mobility, strength, and functional independence. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans to address residents' physical needs.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and coordinate treatment efforts.
- Education and Support: Educate residents and their families on therapy goals, exercises, and strategies for continued improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- Advanced Education: Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and current licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Experience: Preference given to candidates with experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a focus on resident-centered care.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible PRN schedule.
