What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Service Technician position at Skyline Smart Energy?
Overview
At Skyline Smart Energy we believe that our team comes first and nothing is possible unless we all work together! Skyline Smart Energy is focused on delivering the highest quality residential solar installations which means excellence in everything we do. This excellence starts with the customer experience extends to the quality in our construction practices and even includes utilizing the best materials and equipment in the industry. We are looking for team members to grow with us as we continue to grow and execute on our vision. We believe in promoting from within and are looking to fill our ranks with future leaders.
We will be focused on creating a new standard in the solar industry in California and that can only be accomplished with a high performing, hardworking, focused team. In this position we are looking to add to our passionate, dedicated, hardworking, focused, responsible and highly experienced team someone who will cover most of Northern California.
The Service Technician is a critical role on our Field Operations team as the work often done here is critical to turn a customer experience from a negative to a positive one. Most of our service tickets are due to failed inspections, rejected funding submissions or home damage that we caused. In each of these situations the customer by definition is having a less-than-optimal experience so you getting their project up and running or ready to pass inspection or fixing their home and doing so proficiently with a customer touch can turn their experience around. In other situations where we need service work performed in order to do an inspection at all (tie a system in) or fix a funding rejection you become a critical part of generating revenue at Skyline.
If you are looking to join a fun but also hardworking team with lots of passion and a fruitful career in the solar industry then you have come to the right place!
Don’t worry if you do not meet all the qualifications below, we believe in the intangibles (hard work, dedication, passion, attitude) above all else and can train anyone how to be a high performer as long as they have a will to do so!
