Skyline Terrace Nursing Home and Memory Lane Assisted Living is now hiring an Activities Assistant for the weekends. The facility will consider 2 candidates. Each to work every other weekend., 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Duties and responsibilities include providing activities for our residents in group and individual settings. Helping to care for the birds in the aviary, delivering and reading mail to residents, documenting resident activities and participation level. Must be willing to help maintain a pleasant, cheerful home environment and interact effectively with the residents.
Qualifications: High school graduate, ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
Physical Requirements: Visual and hearing ability to sufficiently comprehend written and verbal communication, the ability to perform tasks that may require standing, excessive bending and lifting, the ability to work in a high stress area.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
