Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assess residents' conditions and nursing needs, identifying appropriate actions to meet their physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
- Implement care plans, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in clinical records.
- Communicate changes in residents' conditions during shift reports and notify physicians and responsible parties as required.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered, following established procedures.
- Create resident care assignments, distributing load evenly and making necessary adjustments to ensure all care is provided in a timely manner.
- Teach patients, families, and healthcare teams about resident care and promote a positive team approach to achieve objectives.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, checking discharge charts for completion before forwarding them to the DON.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in assignments to improve resident care, contributing to employee retention, counseling, probation, and dismissal decisions.
- Assist the DON / ADON with designated tasks, such as quality assurance monitors, and perform additional duties as assigned.
