Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our unique telemedicine clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare office management, some experience in sleep medicine and or sleep medicine supplies and care, compliance standards, and patient care protocols. This role is essential in ensuring that our office runs smoothly while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Oversee scheduling, patient admissions, and discharge processes to enhance patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
- Implement and monitor utilization management practices to optimize resource use and improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining quality services.
- Supervise human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
- Utilize Athena software for effective patient record management and reporting.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure acute care services meet established protocols and standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management within a healthcare setting, preferably in a sleep medicine or comparative environment.
- Strong knowledge of JCAHO standards, HIPAA regulations, and utilization management principles.
- Proficiency in Athena or similar electronic health record systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in human resources management.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight in a medical office context.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.24 - $22.50 per hour
