The Equipment Specialist duties include, but are not limited to:
- Access and query all applicable cataloguing and provisioning databases
- Conduct supply chain analyses to support program office procurement decisions.
- Develop and maintain PPL, BOM, and associated data to support field level maintenance.
- Review and provide analysis of Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability metrics.
- Review and provide input to Marine Corps Technical Publications.
- Respond to and research Fleet Trouble calls on both the East and West coasts, including requests for support from Fleet Marine Force (FMF), the DLA, and Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM).
- Conduct document and data management; prepare informational briefings; and perform PDREP action point responsibilities to review, research, and recommend solutions to the Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs).
