Skylo is a global Non-Terrestrial Network service provider based in Mountain View, CA, offering a service that allows smartphone and IoT cellular devices to connect directly over existing satellites.
Skylo's direct-to-device service is now live across four continents, with more than 50 million square kilometers of coverage, in partnership with multiple satellite operators, mobile network operators (MNOs), Tier-1 chipset makers, and OEMs. Devices connected over satellite are managed and served by Skylo's commercial NTN vRAN, featuring a 3GPP standards-based cloud-native base station and core. Skylo works with existing satellite operators, network operators, and device makers to provide subscribers an anywhere, anytime connectivity solution that seamlessly roams between terrestrial and satellite networks. Skylo's focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows across three main verticals : Industrial IoT, automotive, and mass-market consumer devices.
This role is located in Mountain View, CA which we are onsite 3 days a week.
Summary Of How You Will Impact Skylo
Skylo is hiring a Technical Recruiter to help scale Skylo's team and fulfill our mission of making 'direct-to-device' satellite connectivity available to all. This is a high impact role that will collaborate with our network, product, engineering, and sales teams to support our engineering hiring. Initially, this role will primarily support hiring in our Mountain View and Finland offices but may contribute to our Bangalore office as well.
How You Will Contribute
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process A-Z : Manage all recruiting efforts for critical reqs; from sourcing, to interview management, to implementing take-home tests, to the close - with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and effective candidate advocacy.
- Be an ambassador for Skylo. You will share the Skylo story, culture, and vision with prospective candidates and build our employer brand
- Talent Sourcing : You will constantly be on the lookout for creative ways of discovering new talent in our industry, including direct outreach on LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific sources, to identify and engage with potential candidates.
- Stakeholder Management : Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand their unique hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and create comprehensive recruitment plans.
- Process : Maintain a disciplined talent acquisition process, following our published workflows, tools, and systems.
- Data Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in Greenhouse (ATS) and generate regular recruitment reports.

The compensation range for this position is : $100,000 - $120,000 plus equity. This range reflects the low and high end of the range Skylo reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role.
