• Design and implement solutions to assess the quality and reliability of orbital data.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to build interactive visualization tools for satellite tracking and orbital insights.

• Contribute to the design and development of models for identifying and responding to close approach scenarios.

• Support internal and external stakeholders by providing technical insights and data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, or satellite tracking.

• Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or similar languages.

• Experience working with satellite catalogs such as CelesTrak, Space-Track, or similar data sources.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills to track assigned tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of satellite constellations, including assessment of orbital precision and quality.

• Experience in developing real-time alert systems for satellite conjunctions and evasive maneuver modeling.

• Strong communication skills to present scientific results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with web-based visualization frameworks and APIs is an advantage.

Why Join SkyMapper Inc.?
