Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to perform flagging and general laborer tasks on DOT right-of-way projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of work zones and support various construction-related activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform traffic control and flagging duties for roads and highways as needed.
- Ensure safe and efficient flow of traffic through and around work zones.
- Load and transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
- Assist with general laborer tasks, including site preparation and clean-up.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including OSHA and company policies.
- Ensure company assets and equipment are properly maintained and secured.
- Accurately complete activity reports and documentation related to work assignments.
- Stay familiar with proper safety equipment and its use.
- Assist with surveying job sites to ensure a safe working environment for the crew and the public.
- Other duties as assigned.
