Your role as a Loan Servicing Specialist II

As a Loan Servicing Specialist II at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, you will play a crucial role within our Loan Servicing team, focusing on delivering exceptional service to our members. Your primary responsibility will be processing a variety of consumer and mortgage loan servicing requests, ensuring each task is completed with accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. You will support both the Loan Servicing and Lending Departments by managing titles on collateral loans, while ensuring compliance with DMV regulations across all 50 states. Additionally, you'll track and monitor collateral protection insurance matters, maintaining the integrity of loan records and reports.

Your expertise in lending practices and legal requirements will enable you to assist both members and internal partners effectively, addressing routine and complex issues with promptness and professionalism, all while adhering to our Credit Union's standards and policies.

Proficiency in the Dealertrack System is essential for processing title paperwork and managing collateral loans within established time frames. Your ability to deliver quality service will be crucial; responding to support tickets, phone calls, and emails from members and internal partners requires courteous and professional communication. You should be adept at monitoring and reconciling titles, as well as navigating complex transactions with lenders and dealerships.

Attention to detail is key for reviewing DMV documents and resolving any discrepancies. Additionally, your understanding of financial regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and fair lending laws, will help maintain compliance. A collaborative spirit is necessary for training team members and adapting to evolving policies and procedures, all while handling multiple priorities with efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3-5 years direct experience in financial services in consumer and/or mortgage loan servicing, with at least 1 year of DMV processing experience for all states.
• Strong working knowledge of lending products and services, including secured and unsecured loans, auto loans, lines of credit, and credit cards.
• Strong understanding of loan servicing guidelines and regulatory requirements under NCUA and CFPB rules and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and manages time effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and deal with competing priorities.
• High School graduate.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
• Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel and Internet.
• A high degree of confidentiality.
• Excellent member service skills.
