Join us for our Job Fair on November 1st from 10am-5pm with open interviews. Interviews will be held outside. We hope to see you there!
All Line Cooks will prepare food to the exact specifications set by the SkyPark and the management staff. Line Cook’s will play a key role in contributing to our Guest’s satisfaction. They will report to the Head Chef and the Food & Beverage Manager.
This position requires availability on weekends and holidays, shifts vary.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, or preparing soups and sauces).
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Prepare menu items to the specific requests of guests.
- Answer, report and follow Head Chefs instructions.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
- Stock inventory appropriately.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and Guests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven cooking experience preferred.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Familiar with industry’s best practices.
- Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and organization skills.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
- Must have and maintain a valid SB County Food Handlers Certification.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
