Overview
Skypoint Recovery is a trusted outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment facility with transitional housing, dedicated to providing compassionate, client-focused care in Richmond, Virginia. We specialize in helping individuals achieve long-term recovery through structured programming and supportive housing. We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to expand our reach and build strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and treatment networks.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Representative is responsible for growing Skypoint’s presence in the Richmond area by fostering relationships with referral partners, community organizations, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a background in the behavioral health or addiction treatment field, with experience in roles such as Residential Assistant, Peer Support Specialist, Admissions Representative, Case Manager, or a similar position.
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, detox centers, shelters, courts, probation departments, and other community resources.
- Promote awareness of Skypoint Recovery’s outpatient and transitional housing services.
- Conduct outreach visits, attend community events, and represent Skypoint in networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with the admissions and clinical teams to ensure seamless transitions for new clients.
- Track outreach activity, referral outcomes, and key performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for partnership and community engagement to support client access and program growth.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the behavioral health, substance use treatment, or social services field (e.g., peer support, residential assistant, case management, admissions).
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of the SUD treatment landscape and referral process.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for outreach.
