Job Description:
As an Intake Specialist at Skypoint Recovery, you will play a crucial role in welcoming and assisting clients as they begin their journey towards recovery. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth intake process and providing essential support to clients and staff.
Responsibilities:
Welcome new clients upon arrival to the program and facilitate the intake process.
Guide clients through consent forms required for program admission and explain their contents thoroughly.
Collect new clients' personal information and obtain necessary release of information forms. Provide a general overview of program phases and what to expect during the recovery process. Secure and transfer clients' valuables with care and professionalism.
Run clients' clothing through a heating box to prevent bed bugs and maintain a clean environment.
Assist in providing food to new clients and ensure their basic needs are met.
Monitor the intake office and halls, especially during scheduled new intake arrivals.
Receive and distribute staff and client mail promptly and accurately.
Collaborate with medical staff and counselors to coordinate new client assessments effectively.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of drug paraphernalia and familiarity with substance use disorders. Previous experience in addiction recovery or related fields is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $19.36 - $23.31 per hour
