Join Our Team as a Tier 2 Field Technician!
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for helping others? Skyriver IT is looking for a skilled and motivated Tier 2 Field Technician to join our dynamic IT team. What You'll Do:
- Provide on-site technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform basic network administration tasks.
- Assist with the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, and routers.
- Document and track support requests using a ticketing system.
- Collaborate with Tier 1 support and escalate complex issues to Tier 3 or other specialized teams as needed.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates on IT equipment.
- Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT security and data protection.
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical support or field technician role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and basic network administration.
- Familiarity with IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
