This position is ideal for an experienced content writer that is interested in advancing their career path and developing into a digital marketing director. The ideal candidate will excel at project management and content marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client content marketing projects to meet deliverables and deadlines
- Develop and present article topics, messaging and marketing strategy to clients
- Research, write and edit content aimed at B2B audiences including press releases, eBooks, blogs and web pages
- Writing, editing, and scheduling social media content
- Interviewing clients, their customers and business associates
- Internet research to supplement client-supplied information
- Write, design and send email blasts
- Contributing to strategy and brand messaging
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
- A minimum of five years of solid writing and editing experience, preferably with technology topics
- A minimum of three years of marketing experience with a proven track record of managing clients/contractors, projects and budgets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with clients
- Strong proofreading skills with the utmost attention to detail
- Strong project management, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
