Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical design and be proficient in using various design software. Our company in based in the performance and aftermarket automotive industry, working knowledge of vehicles strongly encouraged. This role involves creating detailed prints, drafting designs, product BOM's. We primarily focus on chassis, suspension, steering and Off-Road upgrades, such as skid plates, racks, lighting bracketry. A good knowledge of the Off-Road industry as well as Over-landing is a plus. This can be an entry level to highly skilled position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and draft mechanical designs using SolidWorks, CAD software.
- Create detailed schematics that meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of design processes, revisions, and specifications.
- Work with mechanics, CNC operators, Laser/press brake operators to insure quality product.
Experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CNC programming software, and CAD software is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical design principles.
- Familiarity with system design concepts and the ability to draft detailed technical drawings.
- Previous experience in a design role or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical mechanical knowledge preferred but not mandatory
