What are the responsibilities and job description for the Batching Operator Custodian position at SkySource Solutions Inc.?
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with Batching/Blending experience to join our Fortune 500 Chemical and Ingredient Distribution team! The warehouse associate will be responsible for for the receiving via pipeline and/or tanker truck, take samples and perform tests on product for quality control and perform inspections, mechanical experience and/or mechanical plant maintenance required.
Pay will be starting at $24/hr
Shift hours: 7:30am-4pm (30 min lunch)
Duties
- Provides for the efficient receiving, marking, and stocking of merchandise; ensures the maintenance and protection of warehouse stocks, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintains and controls the requisitioning of warehouse supply items and equipment.
- Inspects and checks warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
- Recommends new methods and procedures in warehouse activities.
- Cleans and maintains warehouse and equipment
- Performs trailer washouts and product dilutions at load racks
- Fills drums/totes at customer locations
- Performs blending of multiple products (splash blending)
- Perform customer tank pump outs and material transfers
- Acquires samples and performs quality control lab tests as necessary
- Handles customer tank installation and maintenance to include purchasing of tanks, oversight of tank inventory, responding and scheduling work at customer sites.
Requirements
- Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations
- Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training.
- Preferred hazmat handling experience.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- 2 - 5 years' experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
