We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators on 2nd shift to join our growing, Fortune 500 organic lawn care product manufacturing team. The heavy equipment operators will be responsible for driving and operating the Front End Loaders on site. Listed below are the job hours, pay and qualifications:
Hours/Pay:
- 2nd Shift: 3p-1:30am and will be starting at $23.00/hr with up to 20 hours of OT a week
- Will come with a significant increase in pay once hired.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for preparing organic mixes using a heavy equipment loader, pushes piles to ensure segregation of materials and places material in the shakers to ensure the machines have a continuous flow of material.
- 2-4 years experience in heavy equipment operation, including front end loader, dozer, and skid loader
- Pre-shift inspection on loader, refuels vehicle when necessary, performs light PM and cleaning at shift end
- Operates vehicle thru-out yard staging mixed products, operator will mix all products and additives as per the products being ran at production lines
- Fills hopper as needed with mixed products, removes tailings or screen room debris and remixes or put back into hoppers, some mixes are done by bucket and bags depending on products being ran
- Receives load tickets from haulers, ensures accuracy, signs, accumulate until the end of the day and forwards the tickets in a neat and clean appearance to the office personnel for inventory entry
- Pumps diesel fuel into the loader by an electrical pump and ensures all safety practices are used to prevent injury
- Monitors the stock piles for excessive heat, turns stockpiles and ensures the proper amount of water is used to prepare the stockpile for production use- Meets quality and quantity standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
