What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Forklift Operator position at SkySource Solutions Inc.?
We are seeking a Material Handler?/Forklift Operator to work in our Fortune 500 Material and Recycling Management Team. This is OUTSIDE material handler in a heated Forklift . Material Handlers must be willing to work outside the whole shift for the assignment, this is not in a warehouse.
*Please Note* This position is in the Honda Plant (MAP) in Marysville, OH. There are multiple businesses in this facility, in order to be considered for this position you have to be able to badge at this location. If you worked here previously, you have to had left on good terms (2 week notice with any companies there) in order to be considered to come back to this location!
Responsibilities
- Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near work site.
- Inspects materials for quality/defects.
- Able to identify material by part number or written description.
- Manually moves materials onto or from pallets and shelves.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
- Cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
- Assembles crates to contain products when required.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
- Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and repetitively lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
