With full-service FBO’s at the Carroll County Regional Airport in Westminster, Maryland (Baltimore/Washington Metro Area) and York County Airport in Rock Hill, South Carolina (Charlotte Metro Area), Skytech is ideally positioned to serve the Mid-Atlantic aviation community.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A & P Certificate
- Inspection Authorization
- Three years experience in Certified Repair Station
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY OVER:
Team of three to four floor technicians
JOB SUMMARY:
- Oversee all work on Work Order’s in progress for respective team
- Compare Work Order times quoted to time billed.
- Evaluate technicians for training needs.
- Review Work Orders when job is complete for accuracy.
- Communicate with manufacturer’s technical support as required
- Test run aircraft pre/post inspection, troubleshoot, duplicate reported failures, and verify satisfactory resolution prior to test flight and/or return to service.
- Assist Director of Service in reviewing job estimates with customers.
- Participate in scheduled reviews of team personnel.
- Train and assist members of team in the proper work procedures and practices to be followed.
- Ascertain that all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders used by the repair station are properly executed by the responsible members of the team.
- Perform logbook research and sign offs.
- Travel to repair AOG aircraft offsite as required
- Participate in “On call” roster for 24/7 AOG support
- All other duties as assigned
