We are currently looking for a Parts Manager. As a Parts and Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our inventory, controlling the stock room, and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department. You will be responsible for various tasks related to parts procurement, inventory management, and customer service. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential to our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process all non-warranty core returns.
- Responsible for inventory control, including maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Control the stock room and issue parts for open work orders.
- Assist the Parts Sales Associate with shipping and receiving activities.
- Establish pricing for parts on invoices.
- Review all receiving purchase orders (POs) and over-the-counter (OTC) invoices before closing.
- Control shop supplies and maintain the stock room.
- Establish and react to automatic reorder levels for inventory.
- Conduct physical inventory checks and reconciliation as required.
- Conduct monthly accounting of high-value inventory.
- Forward invoices to the accounting department.
- Locate parts at other vendors if not available in-house.
- Manage OTC sales, including "walk-ins."
- Assign duties as necessary to Parts Sales Associate.
- Ensure that all OTC receivables are administered per the policy and procedures manual.
- Fabricate shipping crates as required.
- Train all parts personnel and participate in scheduled reviews.
- Handle the sales of all used parts and avionics (consignment or trade-in).
- Manage new part returns and coordinate with the Director of Operations on stocking or returning mis-orders / returns.
- Responsible for purchasing and issuing accurate and timely purchase orders, following up on delinquent items.
- Provide part status information at daily maintenance meetings.
- Establish pricing for parts in quotes and invoices, acquiring all appropriate part return approvals.
- Establish and react to automatic reorder levels within the Fixed Base Operator (FBO).
- Assist in supporting the parts counter and issuing parts to the correct shop orders and squawks.
- Assist with daily shipping duties as needed.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with all vendors and update the Total FBO (TFBO) database accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform any other duties as necessary to support the department.
