PROJECT DESIGNER COORDINATOR

Las Vegas, NV (In-person with occasional remote opportunities)

Full-Time (Minimum 40 hours/week)

Overview

Are you ready to design homes that inspire? At Skyterra, we create custom homes for the modern

individual—enhanced by nature and crafted with meaning. We specialize in biophilic architecture,

landscape, and interior design, shaping spaces that help people live like no one else. Based in Las

Vegas, we’re a boutique firm with projects spanning across Nevada, Arizona, and beyond. Right now,

we're searching for a passionate, creative, and driven Design Assistant to join our team. If you're an

emerging designer with professional experience and a strong interest in bespoke residential design,

this role is for you!

What You’ll Do

- Collaborate on the design of innovative, high-end residential architecture, interior, and landscape

projects.

- Create stunning visual presentations that include Enscape 3D renderings and other design

materials to bring our visions to life.

- Dive into construction documents and project information, ensuring every detail is accurate and

clear.

- Take on project coordination tasks, communicating directly with clients, consultants, vendors,

and contractors to keep things running smoothly.

- Help shape our marketing content by crafting visual and written materials that showcase our

firm’s creative spirit.

- Assist in developing firm standards while actively exploring and challenging new, innovative ways

of working.

- Explore the latest in design thinking, materials, and sustainable practices to keep our work fresh

and forward-thinking.

- Join site visits, contributing to the hands-on documentation of our projects’ progress.

Who You Are

- You hold a bachelor’s or graduate degree in architecture (preferred) or a related field such as

interior design, with demonstrated interest and experience in architectural work.

- You have a minimum of 2–3 years of professional office experience in a design-related role.

- You’re proficient with SketchUp and Revit (required), and familiar with AutoCAD (preferred).

- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Enscape or similar rendering software, Photoshop, Illustrator, and

generative AI (like ChatGPT) is a bonus.

- You’ve drafted construction documents and understand the technical aspects of architectural

documentation.

- Familiarity with Enscape or similar rendering software, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and

generative AI (like ChatGPT) is a bonus.

- You can fearlessly sketch your ideas by hand (it doesn’t have to be pretty!) and grasp the basics

of building components and materials.

- You’re detail-oriented, self-motivated, and excited about tackling new challenges with both

accuracy and flexibility.

- You listen well, communicate clearly, and love collaborating to push a project toward its best

outcome.

- Willingness to embrace change and adapt to evolving firm practices and processes, fostering

innovation and continuous improvement.

- You’re curious, always ready to explore new ideas, and driven by a desire for design excellence.

Why Skyterra?

- Competitive pay based on your experience and skills.

- Unlimited, responsible Paid-time Off.

- HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement)

- A flexible, supportive studio environment.

- The chance to work on a variety of high-end, custom homes where creativity and attention to

detail are key.

- Opportunities to be involved in every stage of a project—from initial design to project completion.

- Mentorship and support for those working toward NCARB AXP certification.

- A workspace that harmonizes a relaxed atmosphere with focused dedication to innovation and

excellence.
