Position Summary:
The Program Director is responsible for the overall management, development, and execution of Skyterra Young Adult’s program. This role involves fostering a positive campus culture, coordinating staff activities, managing budgets, and ensuring exceptional client experiences. The Program Director works closely with the General Manager and Senior Leadership to uphold Skyterra’s mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision:
- Oversee daily program operations and client experiences.
- Supervise all Skyterra Young Adult Program staff.
- Facilitate weekly staff meetings and communicate program updates.
- Provide direct engagement with clients through classes and process groups.
- Attend weekly clinical meetings to offer program insights.
- Conduct client assessments and co-lead new client orientations.
- Participate in the on-call (MOD) rotation every six weeks.
- Support overnight shifts, classes, and outings as needed.
Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage department budgets in collaboration with the finance team.
- Approve program spending within budget constraints.
- Reconcile the program’s weekly ledger for financial accuracy.
Staff Development:
- Conduct bi-weekly individual staff check-ins and evaluations.
- Perform staff assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
Policy & Procedure Management:
- Develop, review, and update program policies and procedures.
- Maintain a comprehensive policy manual for staff and client interactions.
Training & Development:
- Create training manuals covering program curriculum, safety protocols, and organizational culture.
- Collaborate with HR and department heads to develop job descriptions and maps.
Program Development:
- Work with leadership to enhance and expand program offerings.
- Oversee system improvements for operational efficiency.
- Develop curriculum enhancements, including an expanded 12-week schedule and Culinary Learning Center curriculum.
Outreach & Research:
- Lead campus tours for prospective clients, families, and industry professionals.
- Partner with Marketing and Admissions to communicate program offerings.
- Conduct market research for program expansion opportunities.
- Develop sustained outcome data collection at intake, discharge, 30-day, 90-day, and 1-year intervals.
Campus Culture & Communication:
- Foster an environment of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead regular "Connect/Huddle" sessions to enhance communication.
- Facilitate weekly interdisciplinary meetings.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, healthcare, business management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience in program management within wellness, retreat, or healthcare settings.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Budget development and financial management experience.
- Knowledge of wellness and holistic health practices is a plus.
