Internship opportunity for Assistant Revenue Manager at Skytop Lodge
JOB SUMMARY:
We are offering a dynamic 6-month internship (from mid-June thru December, 2025, Tuesday -Friday) opportunity for a motivated individual to assist our Revenue Manager in optimizing revenue strategies and maximizing profitability. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in revenue management.
REVENUE MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS:
- Assist in Preparation of PACE, PICK UP, FORECASTS and other reports, compiling market segmentation, source contributions and records of rate yielding
- Run daily reports from the Property Management System (PMS)
- Help create short and long term forecasts for rooms along with food and beverage.
- Assist in preparation of Revenue Agenda, including package productions and upcoming events
- Submit daily and monthly actual statistics to STAR for benchmarking a hotel's performance
- Analyze competition daily/weekly through shop reports and internet search
INVENTORY AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT:
- Ensure correct rate loading and inventory maintenance across third-party channels and PMS
- Conduct RMS procedural audit compliance.
- Assists in managing room inventory to maximize rooms revenue.
ASSIST IN STRATEGIC PLANNING/MEETINGS:
- Research local events and project their impact on opportunities
- Participate in weekly revenue management meetings when available
- Lead revenue management meetings in the absence of revenue manager.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of revenue management concepts and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Extensive proficiency Excel, Word and Power Point, with the ability to manipulate date.
