Duties
- Perform installation and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Conduct thorough inspections to assess damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Utilize specialized tools and techniques for glass installation and repair.
- Ensure proper sealing and alignment of glass components to maintain vehicle integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to glass installation and vehicle systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to automotive glass services.
Requirements
- Proven or related fields such as auto body repair or vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency in glass installation techniques with a focus on quality detail.
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Strong with the ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications in auto estimating or dealership experience are advantageous.
