Job Description:
Skyview Dental, a leading dental practice in Noblesville, Indiana, is looking for a highly skilled “Extended Functions Dental Assistant” to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate shall have a strong passion for patient care and a commitment to providing exceptional dental services.
Responsibilities:
1: Perform advanced dental procedures under the direct supervision of a dentist, such as:
- Taking impressions for crowns, bridges, and dentures
- Applying dental sealants and fluoride treatments
- Placing and removing temporary crowns and fillings
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures
2: Prepare patients for dental procedures
3: Assist the dentist during treatments
4: Maintain and sterilize dental instruments
5: Manage patient records and scheduling
6: Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a dental practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
