Job Summary
We are seeking a Tree Care Production Manger that will oversee all tree care production operations. This will include scheduling, safety, equipment, training, and production of tree care crews.
Duties
- Plan and execute , including tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, fuel reduction projects.
- Train team members on best practices for tree care and equipment use.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their tree care needs and provide exceptional service.
- Communicate with clients their scheduled date for service. Follow up with clients to make sure that service was done to their satisfaction
- Build strong relationships within the team to foster a positive work environment.
- Prune and remove all sizes and types of trees
- Work in all types of weather conditions
- Operate a bucket truck and various tree care equipment
- Operate a chainsaw and must be able to perform basic maintenance
- Customer Service skills
- Maintain training documents
- Maintain training schedule
- Provide training to crew members on all types of climbing systems
- Ordering equipment and supplies
- Provide employee reviews
- Ability to tow and backup trailers and trucks
- Maintain a clean a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the tree care industry
- Knowledge of tree care, arboriculture, tree ID, new climbing techniques
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with tree care work, including lifting heavy materials, wood, and brush.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites.
- Ability to obtain ISA Certified Arborist certification within 6 months of hire
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
