Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Planning Manager to join our team at Skywalk Group in Hampshire, IL. This role will lead the development and implementation of supply chain strategies that drive business growth and excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, inventory management, and logistics, with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
- Lead a collaborative team to negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts, and optimize inventory levels.
- Coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning sales, finance, and production teams to balance demand and inventory.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform sourcing decisions and drive cost savings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing procurement, including expertise in purchasing, pricing negotiations, vendor management, production planning, and team leadership.
- 4 years of experience in the animal health and food grade industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
