Summary
This role involves performing various tasks related to the shipment of goods to customers across the U.S. and internationally. Responsibilities include loading trucks, creating and applying labels, moving products within the facility, and managing weights.
Major Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of productivity, accuracy, and quality in all tasks.
- Operate industrial power equipment such as turret trucks, reach trucks, dock stockers, etc.
- Use a computer to scan carton IDs and generate the necessary labels for shipment.
- Operate a handheld scanner efficiently.
- Obtain certification for industrial power equipment through the company's training program.
- Inspect all exterior carton information to ensure it is neat, legible, and meets customer requirements.
- Read and comprehend all shipping instructions from customers.
- Gather and provide the proper documentation for each shipment.
- Palletize and shrink wrap loads as required.
- Assist in loading trucks when necessary.
- Move and locate products throughout the warehouse using assigned equipment, such as hand jacks and industrial power equipment.
- Participate in cross-training for other areas as required.
