We are excited to partner with a long-time client in search of a Clinical Specialist for a dynamic, rapidly growing commercial interventional oncology company. This role can be located near a major airport in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, or Tennessee.
Total compensation range: $170-190k, plus stock options
Responsibilities
- Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on device use and stay current on products, therapies, and competitive treatments.
- Collaborate with Sales to establish clinical sites and support customer development needs.
- Work with field sales and marketing teams to maintain customer data for the region.
- Ensure product availability at clinical sites by monitoring replenishment for patient sessions.
- Submit weekly reports on field training, customer visits, and service-related issues.
- Represent the company at medical congresses, exhibitions, and customer events as needed.
Desired Skills And Experience
- 3 years of clinical specialist experience in interventional devices or medical oncology.
- BS degree in life sciences, healthcare, or equivalent required; experience in an interventional radiology lab is a strong plus.
- Strong teaching, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in training new medical products, including designing, analyzing, and updating training programs.
- Experience working across diverse clinical levels, functions, and regions.
- Proficient in MS Office; additional IT skills are a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Heavy travel (80% ), including some weekends, with 2-3 cases per week, usually requiring overnight stays and flights.
