SkyWater is partnering with a fast growing healthcare company that is looking to hire their next Controller to lead their financial operations.
The Controller will have 5 direct reports and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting and financial management.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience (with majority of experience in the healthcare industry), 3 years at a controllership level, strong leadership skills, and someone who enjoys being a hands on leader.
The goal is for this person to eventually move into the CFO seat down the line.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company’s accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of financial statements
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Partner with the executive leadership team to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide analysis and insights to guide strategic decisions
- Lead and mentor the accounting team
- Support the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools to streamline operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure the company’s financial health and stability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA highly preferred)
- 10 years of experience with 3 in a controller seat (with majority being within the healthcare industry)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
