Job Summary
The General Manager plans, directs, and controls the overall financial and operations plans, and policies of Bay Converting Inc. The General Manager is responsible for the development of short and long-range goals and delivering the financial objectives of the company.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for the profit and loss of Bay Converting Inc. by developing/executing the market strategy and building the operations organization to meet or exceed annual business plans
- Identify and drive key customer relationships and lead commercial negotiations where applicable
- Manage business operations to achieve revenue and income objectives. Manage operating and capital budgets to control costs and optimize return on assets.
- Define and execute sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed annual sales plans and quotas
- Maintain an unwavering and exemplary safety culture in all operations
- Review and interpret performance against operating plans and standards
- Provide business mentor leadership to managers regarding corporate policies and objectives
- Build successful business relationships through client interaction and effective project execution
- Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate improvements and improved working relationships
- Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives
- Develop, review, update, and implement business strategic planning including sales and financial performance
- 10 years of managerial experience.
- Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills to develop, mentor, motivate, empower, and hold others accountable.
