SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in the West metro who’s looking to hire a Quality Engineer for their growing team! Our client is a small, privately held manufacturer that’s been successfully operating for over 70 years. The Quality Engineer will report to the QM we placed here, and this individual will be responsible for leading supplier & product quality projects, first article inspections & reporting, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining quality documentation for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers and suppliers on quality projects.
• Develop & maintain quality documentation & reports.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve any quality related issues.
• Lead internal audits and conduct external audits when needed.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Other duties or responsibilities as needed.
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• Associate’s Degree.
• 2 years of experience within quality engineering, manufacturing engineering or a similar role (or combination of roles).
• Experience working in machining or contract manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal & written)
