Responsibilities
- Business Analysis and Solution Design:
- Facilitate discussions with business owners to understand problem statements, gather requirements, and refine priorities.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
- Document solution designs with detailed business and technical specifications, including process flow diagrams, functional specs, use cases, impact analysis, and decision documentation.
- Consult with stakeholders to evaluate business processes, identify challenges, and translate needs into system requirements.
- Identify opportunities for streamlined operational processes and tools to support customer needs. Project Management and Collaboration:
- Support projects and initiatives to deploy or enhance system functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across US and offshore locations to drive project work.
- Participate in system design reviews, project planning, and prioritization.
- Lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues as required.
- Provide timely and effective communication to stakeholders. Compliance and Process Improvement:
- Verify compliance through regular analysis of project work, applications, and architecture.
- Analyze data to identify issues, ensure compliance, and follow up as needed.
- Support process improvement requests with thorough analysis and requirements gathering.
- Balance speed and reliability by assisting in defining service level objectives aligned with business needs. System Configuration and Testing:
- Configure system settings and options, and plan/execute unit, system, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement solutions that adhere to best practices.
- Optimize and reuse software components where applicable. Training and Support:
- Develop and maintain end-user training materials and deliver training as needed.
- Provide technical expertise for system functional specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing SAP Finance Module.
- Experience working in IT departments supporting SAP.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP and associated integrations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with BTC implementation.
- Experience with EDI implementation/management.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
