Application Systems Engineer Senior Principal

The Application Systems Senior Principal Engineer will execute effective / accurate implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and components. This position will design concepts of how to translate the manufacturing processes, resources and materials required into physical, process and execution models. Manage multiple projects while prioritizing actions in support of MES development objectives.  Responsibilities: MES Modeling and setup for a high mix production environment to automate processes and minimize human error. Modification & extensions of existing MES solutions. Data Collection and SPC modeling in the MES. Able to generate reports using SQL and other reporting tools. Help maintain and improve site reporting systems. Work with outside vendors to achieve company objectives. Required Qualifications: Associate degree in computer science or equivalent work experience 12 Years of experience with designing factory automation or MES, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Design concepts of how to translate the manufacturing processes, resources and materials required into physical, process and execution models Technical lead supporting an MES product in a live production environment. MES and/or ERP setup and configuration Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects while prioritizing actions with a high level of attention to detail. Work with minimal supervision, balancing competing priorities, with accuracy. SQL skills Data extraction and manufacturing reporting Lead MES project development. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Computer Science degree Understanding of the Opcenter (Camstar) MES application and familiarity of integrating it into factories Understanding of the Opcenter Execution Object Model Structure and Sequencing for configuration and maintenance Understanding of resource/machine management, maintenance and scheduling concepts Familiarity of the Opcenter Data Model for troubleshooting of issues and reporting information to the end user community Statistical Process Control methodology Documentation and writing skills Knowledge of C languages SECS/GEM tool communication protocol a plus Semiconductor manufacturing experience a plus US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
