Development Engineering Technicians performs experiments for the Engineering team. Documents experimental observations carefully and proposes recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Works from schematics, diagrams, written or verbal description, or layouts.
Sets up new process runcards in our Manufacturing Execution System.
Troubleshooting and dispositions non-conforming material.
Performs standard and advanced engineering experiments from our online ATS Technician Request system
Communicate to Development Engineers on nights/weekends when ATS material is not moving in the factory.
Will become proficient to process wafers across all fab toolsets (100 ).
Develops work instruction, process, and metrology recipes, and refine for results.
Prepare and image x-section samples.
Run information retrieves on the database.
Set up quals for new tools.
Utilize continuous improvement and engage colleagues within operations to eliminate waste and improve product quality.
Operate with reasonable level of independence.
Required Qualifications
2 years experience in a semiconductor fabrication facility or equivalent cleanroom/manufacturing experience with AAS degree or 4 years experience without degree
Strong understanding of Semi processing in one of the following areas: Photo, Etch, Thin Films, CMP, or Implant/RTA.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office
You will be on A Shift defined as Sunday through Tuesday in one week, and Sunday through Wednesday in the other week from 6:00 am to 6:15 pm, 12.25 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period in mid-shift.
U.S. Citizen Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.

Technology/Equipment: Proficient with MS Office.
