What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Engineering Technician Senior - B Shift position at SkyWater Technology Foundry, Inc.?
Our Development Engineering Technician Senior will perform experiments for the SkyWater Advanced Technology Services (ATS) Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Communicate to Development Engineers on nights/weekends when ATS material is not moving in the factory.
Troubleshooting and disposition of non-conforming material.
Performs standard and advanced engineering experiments from our online ATS Technician Request system.
Will become proficient to process wafers across all fab toolsets (100 ).
Develops work instruction, process, and metrology recipes, and refine for results.
Utilize continuous improvement and engage colleagues within operations group to eliminate waste and improve product quality.
Operate with a reasonable level of independence.
Required Qualifications:
AAS and 3 years, or BS and 0-3 years’ experience in a semiconductor fab or lab environment. Will also consider relevant semi experience in lieu of degree.
Strong understanding of Semi processing in one of the following areas: Photo, Etch, Thin Films, CMP, or Implant/RTA.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office
You will be on B Shift, which includes a 10% shift differential, and defined as Sunday through Tuesday in one week, and Sunday through Wednesday in the other week from 6:00 pm to 6:15 am, 12.25 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period in mid-shift.
U.S. Citizen Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with engineering experiments
Prior experience with RSC writing and changing engineering specs
Demonstrated experience with SPC
