IP Development Engineer

Position Summary: Development and verification of views for circuit IP across all SkyWater Technology platform technologies.  Including – but not limited to – Liberties, Verilogs, LEFs, datasheets, IBIS, etc. Responsibilities: ASIC view development and verification for all design IP in SkyWater platform technologies. Proficient in view development and verification (documentation, CDL, OA, GDSII, IBIS, LEF, Liberty, (System)Verilog, Verilog-A, Voltus, etc.) Provide design support to SkyWater customers with respect to IP integration, verification, validation, etc. Utilize SkyWater PDK’s, and provide feedback to internal teams on PDK issues, improvements, capabilities, etc. Engage with third party IP suppliers to specify IP, review/direct deliverables.    Required Qualifications:  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 5 years or more of direct experience in IP view development and verification Development of IP for production in wide variety of applications and markets. Expertise with various IP types (standard cells, SRAMs, GPIO, analog IP, etc.) across wide variety of technology nodes. Expertise in IP sourcing, use, specification, verification, validation and ecosystem development. Expertise in Cadence EDA tool suite, e.g., Liberate, Tempus, Incisive, Spectre, Virtuoso, etc.   Familiarity in script development, e.g., Python, Perl, TCL and Linux environments, e.g., shells, Makefiles, etc. Concise and clear, written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.
