Position Summary:
Join our dynamic team at SkyWater Technology as a Process Integration Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in bringing cutting-edge eight-inch Silicon designs to life. In this role, you will work on diverse projects, including resistive memories, bio sensors, micro bolometers, and CMOS ASICs, employing innovative circuit elements like carbon nanotube transistors, capacitors, and resistors within 90 and 130nm process flows.
Responsibilities:
New process development/transfer/integration in a manufacturing environment.
Develop or integrate robust manufacturable process recipes for Foundry customers in one or more of diffusion, films, photo, etch, or CMP areas.
Development of specialized/novel device integration schemes to support customer needs.
Process integration for CMOS/MEMS/Superconducting/Photonics or other novel device types.
Could develop into a technical project lead position integrating customer device requests.
The job also requires performing other duties as assigned. Percentages of time spent on job duties are estimates and may vary for each position.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors with 5-7 years of experience in an Engineering discipline.
Fab processing tools knowledge/experience.
CMOS/MEMS/Photonic device and integration knowledge with relevant combination of years of experience and/or advanced degree.
Knowledge of DOE, SPC, and 6-sigma concepts and applications.
Clear problem-solving capability, data driven, inventive solution oriented and can articulate thought processes.
Can work both independently and in cross-functional teams for problem solving.
US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Masters/PhD in an Engineering discipline.
Project Management skills and/or defined training.
Prior micro bolometer experience.
